Kami's First Egg Hunt!

Kami had her first egg hunt on Saturday!

We went to the Botanic Gardens

Walked around and hunted for eggs!

NO Apricot's For Kami!!

Well today I was feeding Kami her lunch. She had peas then I started with the fruit. Apricot's something she hasn't had before. She took maybe 2 bites out of it. Then she wouldn't take any more. Which is VERY unusual for her. She loves to eat her fruit. So I gave her some finger food things. Then I noticed her face was red around her mouth. Hmmmmm....... then I notice that she looks Ike she has hives on her chin! I kind of start to freak out. But she was breathing and acting normal. I didn't let her out of the high chair until the rash was gone. Just so I could keep a closer eye on her. So note to myself and anyone who keeps Kami: NO APRICOT'S!!!

It was Kami's first Christmas! She had a really good one! She had so much fun trying to open her gifts! I think out of all of her presents the one she liked the most was some plastic off of one of Kathryn's toys! Hahaha

Update

Kami started to crawl on Tuesday! She still prefers the army crawl but she will get up on her hands and knees and crawl! She has also gotten her first tooth! And I think another one is coming in! I can't believe how big she is getting!

I had to take her to the doctor on Tuesday. Yes AGAIN! She has a double ear infection. The right ear is so bad that it's bulging! I felt so sorry for her. But we got her medicine in her and she is 100% better!

Monday December 29th at 9:30 we are getting tubes for Kami! I am so ready for them. No more going to the doctor every 2 to 3 weeks because of an ear infection. The only bad thing is that we can't feed her after 1 or 2. How can you tell a 7 month old that she can't eat?!?! She's not going to be happy about that! But once said and done she will be a whole lot better and *hopefully* no more being sick.

We went and got pictures with Santa on Thursday. They turned out great! Kathryn is smiling and Kami is just sitting there. But at least she isn't crying/screaming!! {Their outfits are done by grandkiddesings.com}

Kami's 6 month Check Up

I took Kami to her 6 month check up. She did GREAT!!!! She is 14lbs and 4oz. 25 1/4 inches long. She is still in the 25th percentile in almost everything. The doctor said her skin looked great! She is having a problem with really dry skin/eczema. She did really good with her shots. Only cried for a few seconds! I was really surprised since last time she cried for ever. When she was done with her shots I picked her up and she stopped crying. Kami is LOVING her food. She is still trying to crawl. Any day now she is going to start. She gets the legs moving but just can't seem to get her arms moving with them. So for now she is doing an army crawl to get around. She is ALL OVER the place!
